World Series of Innovation

During the class of US History the learning objectives improving my reading skill, this is valuable for my future because I in many jobs they require you to know how to read advanced vocabulary and this class definitely taught me that. 
The World Series of Innovation is a global innovation that lets teenagers from all over the world join. What it is, is a challenge that invites young entrepreneurs to think big and come up with ideas for addressing some of the most critical; issues facing humanity today. If you are the lucky team that wins the prize can go up to $1,800!!! 
I achieved the learning goals to create and design potential Innovative twenty-first-century products and services. I learned this by me and my group creating our own product that uses techniques from the 21st century for example we have our product that is powered by the sun and flies. I achieved the learning goals of knowing the rise of the U.S. because the United States got onto the world stage in 1860’s. 
At the beginning of the project I was excited to work on challenge 13 because I wanted to help my community and other communities around the world Be a better place by planting trees, saving people's time, and saving people's health.
The first thing we did in the project was do our personal brainstorm to think about ideas personally and think about what to do and how to do it. After that we worked together and put our ideas into one big idea and make a pre-write as a group. After that we designed out logo together. And Finally we presented our class our idea and made a commercial on it. 
My Partners and I worked together on doing our logo and our video. Our strengths were coming up with very similar ideas which made things easier. I have grown by remembering that im not the only one making decisions in the group now, I have other people’s opinion to listen to now and I have to take it into consideration. 
This growth links back that the 2 project goals by showing that me and my group achieved to make a successful commercial and submitted on innovation in time. This tells me that I can be able to do things as a group with people that have similar thoughts like me so I can be able to connect with them. 
I have demonstrated to be a Self-Directed Learner who communicates efficiently because I did my Edgenuity by myself, I wrote my notes by myself without anybody's help and I was able to do my quizzes by myself and pass all my exams. This is important because people will not always be by my side to give me answers or help in college I will have to learn how to do things myself with no help. 
I have demonstrated the second SLO by Representing myself, school, and community Through personal responsibility and global citizenship. I represented myself and school and Community by doing my ingenuity when I was required to and taking really good notes and passing my quizzes and unit tests. This is important because I can do very good notes when I’m in college and I can be successful at taking them. 
I was proud of this project because it was very thought out and planned. Me and my partners would have improved it by making a better commercial. One thing I would change if i had a chance to would be my commercial and make it animated. One thing that my classmates did was animate their commercial and I wish I could try it next time. One goal I would like to set up for myself in my next project it to turn it in on time!Overall this project was beneficial To my learning in business because I will know how to handle enter new worship conflicts and advertise my product or app.
